By supporting the Concord Land Conservation Trust, you will help protect open space in Concord and steward lands already preserved. With your annual gift, you will become a member of the Land Trust, and will receive the Land Trust’s 22-page trail guide, newsletter, invitations to seasonal walks and other events of interest; you also will be invited to participate as a voting member in the Land Trust’s annual meeting each autumn.

Giving a membership as a gift

Our natural areas provide space for exploration, exercise and solace. Share these experiences and the gift of woods, meadows, and trails with your family, friends, colleagues and neighbors through a gift membership to the Land Trust. You can do so online through PayPal using a credit card or your PayPal account. Just click this Give a gift membership link. Please make sure in the “Add special instructions to the seller” box on PayPal to add the name and address of the recipient of the gift membership so the Land Trust can send them a Trail Guide booklet and letter to acknowledge your gift.

Stock and real estate gifts

Distributions from Retirement Plans

Because the Land Trust is a 501(c)(3) organization, required minimum distributions (RMDs) from an IRA, 401(k) or other retirement plan can be tax free if gifted directly to a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. This distribution is known as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), another format for  making QCD can usually be found on the website of your retirement plan administrator.
